About the event
Join Pastor Chad Parks for week 3 of our series, King David teaches valuable lessons of doing what we are called to do - and having a trusted brother or sister to call us out on it. Instead of going off and leading Israel into battle - David stayed behind and it led him down a path of sin as he observed Bathsheba bathing which led him to committing adultery. This message is all about how us not doing what we are called to do - and how distraction can open the door for the enemy. As we read and study this passage - we soon learn that ‘Sin Will Take You Further Than You Ever Wanted To Go - And Keep You Longer than You Ever Wanted to Stay.’
